Spotted this evening on my way back to the apartment from the studio.
Making a collection of gift cards called “Imperfetto Impressions”. Each card has a unique background and the graphic is limited to a narrow set in a series. The envelopes are made from newsprint.
A number of series in progress, each will have its own collection title.
A productive weekend in the painting studio at the Scuola internazionale di grafica
I am creating a collection of cards, taking inspiration from Venice surroundings. The envelopes are made from local newsprint, all folded using Origami techniques without using any glue.
Got caught in the rain at the end of a long day at the Studio. We stopped to wait it out at an “economico” pizzaria. Barbara is showing off her mad professor look with an over shirt she grabbed from the lab to stay dry in the rain. We loved the look! Ellie and I continued gabbing over cheap vino and prosseco long after the rain stopped.
The view from my apartment window of lightening over the leaning tower. Venice is sinking!
Barbara Madsen exhibits her work at the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica. The crowd sourced collaboration is supported by poetry written by a Venenzuelan poet.
